Bando Chemical Industries, Ltd. (Bando) received a business license from the Government of Vietnam,
and this month opened a new manufacturing and sales company, Bando Manufacturing (Vietnam) Co., Ltd.,
in the suburbs of Hanoi in northern Vietnam.
Vietnam's remarkable economic growth has led it to have the world's fourth largest demand for scooters,
following China, India and Indonesia and the market for power transmission belts has greatly increased.
Scooter makers are increasingly manufacturing in Vietnam.
Bando manufactures and sells power transmission belts and related products, including belts for
scooters, and will now strengthen its system to provide high quality products in a timely manner to
manufacturers in Vietnam in response to demand expansion there.
