RIB ACE™

Compact v-ribbed belt for high-speed transmission

Generally called a V-ribbed belt, it is a belt that combines a flat belt and a V-belt, taking advantage of the features of both.
The use of this belt has conventionally been limited to driving auxiliary equipment in automobiles, but this power transmission belt can also be used in general-purpose machinery to meet the demand for compactness, improved machine functionality, and reduced labor for maintenance.

RIB ACE™

Features

Minimum pulley diameter of 50 mm enables downsizing of transmission equipment
Low transmission loss and high speed operation (belt speed up to 50 m/s)
Smooth transmission with less rotation irregularity due to rib grinding process
Thinner belt with less bending loss than V Belts, resulting in better transmission efficiency (less power loss).
Less belt deformation and abrasion sinking into the pulley groove compared to V Belts, which is advantageous for maintaining tension and maintenance.
