We are focusing on product development that meets customer needs by utilizing new ideas and technologies through innovation to contribute to the realization of carbon neutrality by 2050.
HFD system®- Contribute to energy savings with high transmission efficiency and durability -
“HFD System™” is an energy-saving transmission system product which achieved higher transmission efficiency and longer service life than the conventional V-belt system by combining a flat belt, a meandering control device, and an auto-tensioner technology. This product can reduce both electricity consumption and CO2 emissions by an average of 7%* by using flat belts that minimize losses due to low bending distortion and also achieve approximately 3 times* longer service life and a maintenance-free system by stabilizing tension with springs. Lower belt weight and longer service life also contribute to a significant reduction of industrial waste, and therefore the product is used in a wide variety of industrial machinery such as air blowers in hospitals, factories, etc. and air conditioners, etc. in office buildings, commercial facilities, etc. We will continue to work on the development of new products that anticipate customer needs in order to address power shortages and contribute to energy savings and CO2 emission reduction. *Comparison with the Company’s V-belts
QUICK-CHANGE ATOM™- Contribute to CO2 emission reduction with locking mechanism that requires no power source -
Against a backdrop of a declining labor force, the adoption of collaborative robots that can work side-by-side with workers is rapidly expanding. Taking advantage of technology and expertise accumulated through manufacturing and sale of products compatible with industrial robots mainly for the automotive industry, we developed “QUICK-CHANGE ATOM™,“ an end-effector changer that replaces hands and tools on collaborative robots.
Unlike the conventional products using the pneumatic piston locking mechanism for coupling and uncoupling, this product adopts the mechanical locking system with plate springs and the airless structure and allows manual tool change in addition to automatic tool change using robots, significantly contributing to improving user work efficiency. It also contributes to reducing CO2 emissions in the manufacturing industry as it does not need pneumatic, electric or other power sources when coupling and uncoupling.
Ceptor ™-X S3M/S5M- Support the downsizing of products by reducing belt width -
“Ceptor™-X S3M/S5M,” a new model line of toothed belt Ceptor™ series, has a small pitch and yet is available for high-load application, which supports the downsizing and higher precision of industrial robots and medical devices which are becoming increasingly popular with the increasing demand for labor saving. This product, developed by using our core technologies in compounding, dispersing, combining and processing rubber materials, improved the transmission capacity by approximately 20%* by using high-hardness and high-modulus materials, allowing the use of narrower belt width. As a result, it achieved compact, lightweight and low-noise design and also reduced CO2 emissions throughout its lifecycle by substantially reducing raw materials and waste. We will continue to contribute to solving social issues including CO2 emission reduction through product development leveraging the strengths of the Group. * Compared to Ceptor™-VI (conventional product)
