“Enhancement and evolution in manufacturing”―Achievements and Future Initiatives

By focusing on “Enhancement and Evolution in Manufacturing” under the mid-term business plan BF-2 to develop innovative production methods and build automated production lines, the Group has improved labor and capital productivity and reduced the cost of sales ratio while reducing material loss and energy consumption.

SDG to which the Bando Group contributes

We will continue to work on “Enhancement and Evolution in Manufacturing,” with the aim of contributing to society through a reduction of environmental impact and realizing sustainable growth.

Major progress in fiscal 2021 and future initiatives

  • Reduce defects and losses,
    and continue productivity improvement
  • Consider the review of global production system
  • Improve the sales mix by discontinuing unprofitable products and introducing high value-added products
  • Deal with soaring raw material prices, logistics costs, etc.
