To respond flexibly to changes while fully demonstrating individual strengths and abilities

In terms of the sustainability activity theme “Labor/Safety,” while closely aligning with the priority policy “Improvement of engagement” of Guideline 3 “Evolution of organizational capabilities for the future” in the new mid-term management plan “CV-1,” we will implement the “job satisfaction reform” that can achieve both individual job satisfaction and organizational productivity improvement and also continue to promote health and productivity management to realize the “Employee Health Management Declaration” established in fiscal 2017.
Through these efforts, we aim to continuously evolve our organizational capabilities for the future by encouraging diverse human resources to fully demonstrating their strengths and abilities and flexibly respond to changes in the social and competitive environment.

Accelerate initiatives for the “Employee Health Management Declaration”

Currently, we are focusing particularly on health and productivity management. Under the concept that “physical and mental health of all employees is the basis for the development of the Group” established in the “Employee Health Management Declaration,” the “Healthy and Enthusiastic Workplace Creation Team” formed at each office take the lead in setting familiar challenges reflecting their characteristics and promoting health as well as improving workplace environment based on their actual circumstances.
The “vitality check,” which is conducted as part of this effort, measures body composition, flexibility, balance, reflexes, and walking age, etc. in response to aging of our employees and an increase in musculoskeletal illness in recent years.
We are also proactively working on collaborative health measures with the health insurance association, including holding walking events and women's health seminars and providing smoking cessation support.

Toward the future job satisfaction
reform and engagement improvement

In fiscal 2023, we conducted an engagement survey to visualize the engagement status at each workplace and create an environment where employees can interact with each other and make improvements. In the future, we plan to implement various initiatives including a 360-degree approach aimed at encouraging managers to change their behavior, revision of the evaluation system to facilitate the development of individual employees and increase their motivation, and encouragement of a culture where employees actively raise their hands and express their opinion with an eye on autonomous career development. We intend to promote them by reviewing their effects quantitatively.
